Description

The aluderm®-aluplast elastic finger dressing is a specialized wound dressing featuring an aluminum-coated aluderm® wound pad and an absorbent nonwoven layer. The aluderm® wound pad does not stick to the wound, does not fray, is highly absorbent, breathable, and can support skin regeneration and healing. The highly elastic, white polyester nonwoven fabric used as the backing material is particularly gentle on the skin, highly breathable, and water-repellent. The polyacrylate adhesive used is additionally activated by body heat, making the dressing particularly conforming, allowing it to adapt optimally to all movements, and ensuring it is hypoallergenic and non-irritating. This makes the finger dressing ideal for people with sensitive skin or adhesive tape allergies. All aluderm®-aluplast wound dressings are individually sealed in hygienic packaging, allowing for on-demand use, safe storage, protection against contamination, and extended shelf life. The finger bandage complies with the DIN 13019 standard and is classified as a Class I medical device.
