Description

The aluderm®-aluplast elastic fingertip dressing is a high-quality wound dressing with an aluminum-coated aluderm® wound pad and integrated absorbent nonwoven. The special aluderm® wound pad does not stick to the wound, does not fray, is highly absorbent, and breathable. It can support skin formation and healing and ensures a clean, low-irritation wound environment—ideal for treating injuries to the fingertips. The backing material consists of a highly elastic, white polyester nonwoven fabric that is particularly gentle on the skin, highly breathable, and water-repellent. The polyacrylate adhesive is further activated by body heat, allowing the dressing to conform perfectly, follow all movements, and remain hypoallergenic and non-irritating at the same time. The bandages are individually and hygienically sealed, allowing for on-demand dispensing, secure storage, protection against contamination, and extended shelf life. The fingertip bandage complies with the DIN 13019 standard and is classified as a Class I medical device. It belongs to the category Wound Care > aluderm®-aluplast Rapid Wound Dressings.
