Description

aluderm®-aluplast Elastic Strips are high-quality wound dressings featuring an aluminum-coated aluderm® wound pad and an integrated absorbent nonwoven layer. The special aluderm® surface does not stick to the wound, does not fray, and is highly absorbent. This helps support skin formation and healing while providing a breathable wound covering. The backing material consists of a highly elastic, white polyester nonwoven fabric that is particularly gentle on the skin, highly breathable, and water-repellent. The polyacrylate adhesive is further activated by body heat, allowing the dressings to conform very well, follow all movements, and remain hypoallergenic and non-irritating. The bandages are individually hygienically sealed, allowing for on-demand use, safe storage, protection against contamination, and extended shelf life. They are particularly suitable for people with sensitive skin or bandage allergies and comply with the DIN 13019 standard as a Class I medical device.
