The aluderm®-aluplast refill set for children’s bandage dispensers contains 25 bandage strips (7.2 x 1.9 cm) with a cheerful clown design and is specially formulated for children’s sensitive skin. What makes this wound dressing unique is the aluminum-coated aluderm® wound pad with absorbent nonwoven fabric: It does not stick to the wound, does not fray, and reliably absorbs wound exudate. This helps support skin regeneration and the healing process while ensuring a comfortable fit. The highly elastic, white polyester nonwoven fabric used as the backing material is particularly gentle on the skin, breathable, and water-repellent. The polyacrylate adhesive is further activated by body heat, allowing the bandage to conform perfectly to the skin.
