Description

aluderm® – gentle wound care: This rapid-action wound dressing was specifically developed for reliable acute care and is considered the method of choice in first aid and emergency medicine across all product forms. The wound dressing consists of an aluminum-coated polyester nonwoven that protects the wound and significantly reduces the risk of adhesion. The hydrophobic cover layer made of PP nonwoven provides additional safety and comfort. aluderm® is suitable for first- and second-degree burns, does not shed fibers, is highly absorbent, and prevents the backflow of wound exudate to the wound. The breathable material supports skin regeneration and wound healing by ensuring the wound remains undisturbed during dressing changes. The dressing is physiologically safe, free of chemical binders, EO-sterilized under constant monitoring, and packaged in special medical-grade paper. In addition, each product is marked with an expiration date of 20 years from the date of manufacture and complies with the DIN 13019 standard as a Class I medical device.
