Description

Compression and functional bandages are worn for extended periods; they must stay in place without slipping and maintain precisely adjustable pressure. Acrylastic is a self-adhesive bandage with approximately 60% longitudinal stretch. Highly twisted warp threads are woven into the fabric—they provide strong compression and lasting longitudinal elastic support.

The fabric is water-repellent, and the adhesive is gentle on the skin: the bandage can be worn for several days even on sensitive skin. Acrylastic is made of 100% cotton, is sterilizable, and is radiolucent—meaning an underlying fracture can be examined without removing the bandage.
