Sterile aluderm® DuOcul Eye Compresses for gentle, highly absorbent acute care of eye injuries and burns.

Description

The aluderm® DuOcul Eye Compress stands for “gentle wound care” in the field of first aid and emergency medicine. It is designed for the acute treatment of injuries to the eye and the surrounding area and is the treatment of choice in all product forms. The wound dressing consists of an aluminum-coated polyester nonwoven fabric, which ensures a particularly smooth, low-irritation surface. A hydrophobic PP nonwoven outer layer provides additional protection for the wound. The eye compress reduces the risk of wound adhesion, is highly absorbent without reverse transfer to the wound, breathable, and promotes skin formation and healing by ensuring the wound remains undisturbed during dressing changes. It is suitable for first- and second-degree burns, does not shed fibers, is physiologically safe, free of chemical binders, and EO-sterilized under continuous monitoring. Each compress is packaged in special medical-grade paper and labeled with an expiration date of 20 years from the date of manufacture. It is a Class I sterile medical device.
