Description

Cutimed Siltec Plus is a highly absorbent foam dressing for chronic wounds with low to high levels of exudate. Its silicone film has stronger initial adhesion than the standard version—making it suitable even for hard-to-reach wounds.

The practical benefit is the so-called “third-hand effect”: The dressing stays in place on its own while the secondary fixation is being applied. Anyone who has ever tried to secure a dressing on their back or heel by themselves knows the problem. The silicone film also protects newly formed tissue and prevents it from sticking to the wound.
