Description

At drainage and catheter exit sites, the dressing must be wrapped around a tube. Cutimed Sorbion Sachet S Drainage is slotted for this purpose and conforms to the exit site—eliminating the need to trim the dressing on the patient and the gaps that result.

The dressing consists of a superabsorbent core encased in an ultrasonically sealed polypropylene nonwoven and is free of pharmacological active ingredients. It offers very high absorption capacity and retention performance, securely contains exudate even under compression, continuously cleanses the wound bed, and reduces odor.

Indications

• Moderately to heavily exuding wounds
• Drainage and catheter exit sites
• Chronic wounds such as leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers, and pressure ulcers
• Secondary-healing wounds of various etiologies
• Exulcerating carcinomas and similar exudative wounds
• Dressing changes as needed based on the wound condition, at least every 7 days
