Ready-to-use, oxidative-based rapid disinfectant—approved as a biocidal product (BPR) and a CE-marked medical device (MDR). Alcohol-free, sporicidal, and with a broad spectrum of activity for surfaces, medical devices, and medical equipment.
Dual Approval – Biocide and CE Medical Device
Ultrasol Oxy is approved both as a biocidal product under the BPR (PT2 + PT4) and as a CE-marked medical device (CE 0482) under the MDR. This dual approval allows it to be used for general surface disinfection and for the disinfection of semi-critical medical devices (e.g., ultrasound probes) without having to switch products.
Spectrum of Activity
- Bactericidal, levurocidal, tuberculocidal, mycobactericidal, fungicidal
- Sporicidal: C. difficile R027 in 5 min (EN 17126), B. subtilis/cereus in 10–15 min
- Virucidal (broad-spectrum) in 5 min, limited virucidal PLUS in 1 min (EN 14476)
- VAH-listed, IHO-listed, HACCP-compliant, ÖGHMP
Alcohol-free – high material compatibility
Suitable for alcohol-sensitive plastics, ultrasound devices, MRI and CT surfaces, incubators, and stainless steel. Not suitable for copper and brass. Degrades without residue into oxygen, water, and acetic acid.
