Description

HydroClean® cavity is the innovative solution for the treatment of dry, mildly, and moderately exuding wounds, particularly those with impaired healing potential. This hydroactive wound dressing has been specifically developed for the cleansing and granulation phases of chronic and hard-to-heal wounds. The key component is a superabsorbent polyacrylate (SAP) embedded in cellulose and pulp fibers, which is activated with Ringer’s solution. Through the continuous release of Ringer’s solution for up to three days, HydroClean® ensures interactive, continuous wound irrigation, thereby promoting the reactivation of stagnant healing processes. At the same time, matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), which interfere with wound healing, are inactivated, enabling optimal wound bed preparation.
