Description

HydroClean® is a state-of-the-art, hydroactive wound dressing specifically developed for the treatment of dry, mildly to moderately exuding wounds with impaired healing potential. Thanks to its unique core of superabsorbent polyacrylate (SAP), embedded in cellulose and pulp fibers and activated with Ringer’s solution, HydroClean® ensures continuous and interactive wound irrigation. The dressing releases Ringer’s solution to the wound for up to three days while reliably absorbing exudate. The innovative SAP in HydroClean® inactivates matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) that interfere with wound healing, thereby supporting the reactivation of stalled healing processes—ideal for chronic and hard-to-heal wounds in the cleansing and granulation phases.
