Description
Hartmann HydroClean 4 cm oval dressings are specially developed hydroactive wound dressings that offer an innovative solution for the treatment of dry, mildly, and moderately exuding wounds—particularly those with impaired healing potential. Thanks to the superabsorbent polyacrylate core (SAP), embedded in cellulose and pulp fibers and activated with Ringer’s solution, HydroClean ensures continuous, interactive wound irrigation for up to three days. The dressing absorbs wound exudate while releasing moisturizing Ringer’s solution, which promotes effective cleansing and granulation. Additionally, matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), which interfere with wound healing, are inactivated, allowing stagnant healing processes in chronic wounds to be reactivated.
