Leukoplast Elastic, Finger Strips

Crosswise-stretch finger strips — narrow and long, designed for finger injuries.

Description

Fingerstrips are narrow and long so they can be wrapped around the finger and over the joint without bunching up. A standard rectangular bandage tends to wrinkle in this area and comes loose within hours.

The material is cross-elastic and conforming, with reliable adhesion and breathability. This allows it to follow the movement of the finger joint rather than restricting it. Available in two lengths.

Key Features

  • narrow, long cut for fingers
  • transversely elastic fabric, particularly flexible
  • reliable adhesion
  • breathable
  • Not made with natural rubber latex
  • Sizes: 120 × 19 mm and 180 × 19 mm

Applications

  • Wound care on fingers
  • Injuries above finger joints
  • Cuts and abrasions on the hand

Summary

The finger is the most common site of injury in everyday life and the most difficult to dress. The long, narrow strip solves this problem—its crosswise elasticity ensures it stays in place even at the joint.
