SONAX XTREME Wheel Cleaner PLUS
Acid-free specialty cleaner with an activity indicator for all steel and alloy wheels, including painted, chrome-plated, polished, powder-coated, and matte finishes.
Description
Baked-on brake dust is stubborn, and not every cleaner is suitable for rims. This cleaner actively breaks down brake dust along with oil and rubber residues as well as other road grime—made possible by its optimal adhesion to the rim surface. It does not damage the surface or the wheel lug nuts, and it is suitable for wheels with a tire pressure monitoring system.
A reaction indicator shows progress: Upon contact with dirt, the cleaner turns reddish, indicating that it is working. The formula is pH-neutral for the skin and has a pleasant scent.
Allow the rims to cool before use, shake the product, and test for material compatibility on an inconspicuous area; do not use on repainted rims. Spray evenly from a short distance and let it sit for three to five minutes, depending on the level of dirt. If necessary, scrub with a soft sponge or brush—wearing protective gloves—and then rinse thoroughly with a strong stream of water or a pressure washer.
