The tesa® 50600 PET masking tape is a high-temperature-resistant, green-translucent masking tape with a silicone adhesive for precise masking and surface protection applications up to 220 °C.

Description

The tesa® 50600 PET Masking Tape 220 °C is a flexible, green-translucent, high-temperature masking tape with a polyester (PET) backing and silicone adhesive. It is particularly suitable for masking during powder coating, for surface protection applications, and for bonding and splicing non-polar materials. The tape is easy to apply, enables sharp paint edges with excellent paint adhesion, and can be removed in one piece without leaving any residue after use. tesa® 50600 is also available with a liner and with a special 50 μm thick PET backing as variant 50600 PV1. Thanks to its heat-resistant silicone adhesive system, the tape withstands extreme temperatures up to 220 °C for up to 30 minutes while offering high puncture resistance and reliable protection for sensitive surfaces.
